About Ani DiFranco
Feminist icon and Grammy Award-winning musician Ani DiFranco has come a long way from covering Beatles songs in bars and clubs. She released her first album in 1990, choosing not to go with a label, and sold copies of the album from the trunk of her car. She has been busy ever since, in a whirlwind of near-constant touring and recording, and released her most recent album, Red Letter Year, in 2008.
