About Creed
Creed has been considered to be a post-grunge band, and they are from the great state of Florida. The excellent group created three multi platinum albums. They have even sold over thirty five million records all over the world. After five year disbandment, they have recently announced that they will return and they will be putting out a new album. This incredible group has gone from being nobodies when they first embarked on their great journey, to now being one of the best alternative bands around.
Their first album ever was called, “My Own Prison” and it was a low cost album, but it later sold a record amount. After hearing the album, Wind Up Records decided to take a risk and plunged into a deal with Creed. It proved to be one of the best moves the label ever made. In 1999, the second album by Creed hit the shelves. The name of the album is “Human Clay.” It hit the Billboard 200 charts at number one and remained at number one for many weeks to come. Creed soon became more and more popular.
It was a few years later that Creed once more produced another album, this one being called “Weathered” and off this album came a very popular number one hit My Sacrifice. During this time period, Creed became quite the household name, even having one of their best songs featured for the World Wrestling Entertainment show. It wasn’t long after this time that the band took a short break and decided to bow out of the music scene for a short stint.
Now, they are back and better than ever. Coming soon there will be a reunion concert tour, and a new album. The new albums title is “Full Circle” and will hit shelves in late 2009. Creed over the years has smashed their way through people’s hearts, leaving a great sound of music that will last a lifetime. Creed has finally come full circle and will once again play to our hearts in our homes. Look for the new album soon and keep an eye out for those concert dates.
