There will be another piece for the 2009 season to join the Big 3 of Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett. In the off-season, GM Danny Ainge managed to sign Detroit Pistons forward Rasheed Wallace to a 3 year deal to complement the trio. With point guard Rajon Rondo back, the Boston Celtics can easily be the favorite to win the Eastern Conference title this upcoming season. The thing that has been one of the strong points of the Celtics of the past couple season is their bench. Kendrick Perkins and Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis are back this year and they will also be joined with Brian Scalabrine, Eddie House, and Shelden Williams to provide much needed help off of the bench. The way that things look, the Boston Celtics look in very good shape for the upcoming campaign.
