Last year’s 11-5 record surprised just about everyone as did Ryan’s play, but this year, the Falcons won’t surprise anyone as they have earned the respect of the league.
Georgia Dome tickets are always in short supply as the Falcons play host to one great game after the next. They begin the year against the Miami Dolphins, the most improved team last year and AFC East champs. These two surprise playoff teams from last year are now established powerhouses in their respective divisions, and with Miami’s “Wildcat” Offense, this game is a must see. Week two sees the Carolina Panthers come to town for a rematch of the outstanding game last year that saw Carolina edge Atlanta to gain the Division Championship. The Falcons will think revenge as they try to stop the best running offense in football. Later in the year, the Falcons will play host to both Tampa Bay and New Orleans. Finally, the must see game of the year will be when Michael Vick returns to the Georgia Dome on December 6 with the Philadelphia Eagles. Imagine the buzz in the crowd as he steps out onto that field once again in front of the fans who cheered him to the NFC Championship game in 2005 against these very same Eagles. Each game this year will have playoff implications, so you cannot miss the opportunity to support your Falcons.
