Maroon 5 Tickets

Maroon 5 made us all find our rock star-selves when we heard their electrifying number one Billboard Hot 100 single and screamed "I've got the moves like Jagger!" Ironically, Maroon 5 struggled over whether or not they wanted to record "Moves Like Jagger" because of the electrifying pop style the track held and because they had never worked with outside composers, but thankfully they were wooed over and decided to feature Christina Aguilera for the bridge. After "Moves Like Jagger" was released, there was no way that Maroon 5 would not get an American Music Award! Maroon 5 was overwhelmed with joy when they received their first AMA award in 2011 for Favorite Pop Band/Group. However, underneath the frenzy, Jesse Carmichael had begun to contemplate the plans and ideas he had sacrificed for keeping up with Maroon 5's tough schedule. PJ Morton had been playing the keyboard for Maroon 5 since 2010 and his talent was often utilized for background vocals. In March of 2012, Maroon 5 confirmed that Morton would be a temporary replacement for Carmichael. Meanwhile, the band had just recorded and released a record for "The Hunger Games" soundtrack called, "Come Away to the Water." With a couple Grammys under their belt and several nominations, there is proof that this band knows what they are doing.

More About Maroon 5
Maroon 5's original members, Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, and Mickey Madden began jamming together in garages and basements in Los Angeles, California after meeting during junior high. Once they joined up with drummer Ryan Dusick in 1994, they formed Kara's Flowers. Kara's Flowers bloomed long enough to sign with Reprise Records and release "The Fourth World." Fortunately, for us Maroon 5 fans, Kara's Flowers' British-pop album only sold about 5,000 copies and led the band to throw in the towel.

The next chapter for Adam Levine and Jesse Carmichael took place studying music during a semester at Five Towns College. Adam began writing after his college stint and the California boys came out strong impressing Octone Records with a demo of "Sunday Morning." The guys recruited their friend James Valentine as a guitarist. The new addition of Valentine and the band's new style brought on the new name, Maroon 5. The fab-five felt the new name would solidify their new journey together, but they are still holding back on the secret behind calling themselves "Maroon" 5, hopefully one day they'll spill the beans! Ryan Dusick was Maroon 5's drummer when they laid out their first album "Songs about Jane" in mid-2002. Maroon 5's first album featured four hit singles. Their leading hit single was "Harder to Breathe" and it rose to number eighteen on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and number thirteen in the United Kingdom. John Mayer was so captivated by Maroon 5's single "This Love" that he had to have the Maroon 5 fellas open for him during his 2003 tour. Maroon 5's third heart throbbing single, "She Will be Loved" was number one in Australia and climbed to the Top five in the United States and the United Kingdom. Maroon 5's fourth single, "Sunday Morning" landed in the Top 40 in the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom. All of which landed the California boys with a gold record, platinum record, and even triple platinum records in different countries throughout the world and Maroon 5 achieved this by their relentless touring that included shows in seventeen different countries. They toured with hit sensations like The Rolling Stones, Gavin DeGraw, Matchbox Twenty, Stevie Wonder, Dashboard Confessional, Jason Mraz, Vanessa Carlton, Sugar Ray, Michelle Branch, Counting Crows and more! The sky rocketing success and all of the Maroon 5 enthusiasts' feedback was the ultimate payoff for their first recording album together as Maroon 5, especially because Adam Levine and the lads thought the album fell below expectations. Songs About Jane took 26 months to hit its' peak position of number six on the Billboard charts in 2004; the longest span between an album being released and attaining Top 10 status since around 1991. Maroon 5's album, Songs About Jane, was such a success that Maroon 5 won the Best New Artist Grammy Award in 2005. Maroon 5 also won the Grammy Award for their single, "This Love" in 2006 for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals. Unfortunately, the nonstop touring took a toll on Maroon 5's Drummer, Ryan Dusick, by amplifying some of his old sports injuries and caused him to officially leave the band in September of 2006. Gavin DeGraw's former drummer, Matt Flynn swooped in and has been strumming for Maroon 5 ever since. In fact, Mickey Madden said that their newfound drummer learned every song in just a couple nights.

Maroon 5 slowed their touring roll and started recording again shortly after Flynn came on board. "It Won't Be Soon Before Long" was Maroon 5's second album, which was released in May of 2007. Levine says that he drew inspiration from artists like Michal Jackson AKA "The King of Pop" and "The Love Symbol" we all know as Prince. Even though "Makes Me Wonder" was recorded as a track on Maroon 5's second album, "It Won't Be Soon Before Long," it was released as a pre-sales single and video and proved to be an immediate knockout by becoming the number one seller on iTunes. Maroon 5's album broke iTunes sales records during the first week that it was released by selling over 101,000 copies. Following the album's release, Maroon 5 executed a "six-day club tour" in June of 2007 to promote their album before starting their world tour. Maroon 5 hit the road again in September of 2007 for their World Tour, which included shows on every continent, with the exception of Antarctica, of course. Maroon 5 even stopped off to pay sets in several cities that weren't even on their tour roster, which pleased masses of unexpected fans! Maroon 5's record, "Makes Me Wonder" won the gang their second Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals.

Maroon 5 then proceeded to leave their LA homes and head to Switzerland to record their third album and the guys realized that leaving home was the best move for their creative juices. They isolated themselves within the studio for about three months and their minds oozed with artistic creativity. They named their fourth album "Hands All Over" and it was released in September of 2010. Their album "Hands All Over" also featured "Misery," "I Can't Lie," and the "Hands All Over" track. Maroon 5 also wrote and recorded the song "Is Anybody Out There" for a Coca-Cola promotion, which Coca-Cola released as a free download on their website.
