The team's logo was designed by the advertising firm, Mel Richmann Inc., and is the letter P with four wings and an orange spot in the center of the P to stand for a puck. The team's home base is South Philadelphia. They first played at the Spectrum on South Broad Street and in 1996 moved to the Wachovia Center, where they continue to play.
