This will be the last year for the Pittsburgh Penguins games at Mellon Arena. Phillip Boucher announced his retirement, and will not be returning to the team. Sydney Crosby will be returning. He has won the Hart Trophy, the Art Ross trophy, and was the youngest captain to win a Stanley Cup. His teammate Evgeni Malkin will be back as well. These 2 players are the teams' strongest assets. These 2 players are very young, and can only get better. This should prove to be an exciting year for the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Pittsburgh Penguins team was first established in 1967. The team has won a total of 3 Stanley Cups since their conception. They won the Cup in 1991,1992, and the 2009 cup. Training camp opens on Sept. 12th. the Pittsburgh Penguins schedule has been released, and the opening game is September 15th against the Columbus Blue Jackets .
