More About St. Louis Rams
Originally formed in 1936 as the Cleveland Rams, the franchise spent very little time in Cleveland. In 1945 the franchise relocated to Los Angeles, California and became the LA Rams. The Rams remained in Los Angeles from 1946-1994 before moving to their present location of St. Louis, Missouri. Upon the franchise's arrival in St. Louis in 1995 the Rams initially played at Busch Stadium. Their current home, the Edward Jones Dome was completed in November of 1995 and has been the home of the Rams ever since. During the height of St. Louis' football dominance, tickets to the Edward Jones Dome and Rams games were tough to come by as everyone wanted to see the Rams prolific offense. However, after winning a combined five games in the past two seasons; the demand has skyrocketed, many times fans that go direct to the box office or through the stadium end up with limited view seating or no tickets at all. The solution to finding seats to any game is by going through a ticket broker. Our service provides seating that would otherwise be unavailable, at a price that most can afford. If you need tickets to any upcoming home or away game, please don't hesitate to give us a call. The Rams weren't in St. Louis for long when they started to emerge as one of the NFL's most potent offenses. Under head coach Dick Vermeil and stock-boy turned QB Kurt Warner; the Rams reached the pinnacle in 1999 defeating the Tennessee Titans in the Super Bowl. This ushered in the era of the "Greatest Show on Turf", a reference to St. Louis' aerial offense and their home field at the Edward Jones Dome. St. Louis enjoyed a brief, yet memorable, stint as one of the NFL's most feared franchises. In 2000 the team made an early exit in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, and returned to the Super Bowl in 2001, losing to the Patriots. Since 2001 however, the Rams have fallen on hard times. As the "Greatest Show on Turf" began to break up and players departed, the team's success faded. Since 2001 the Rams have only made the playoffs twice, never advancing past the divisional round. Currently the team is in the midst of a four year playoff drought. Inconsistency has dogged the team as of late, especially at the head coach position. The Rams are have their third head coach since the 2006 season and are very much a franchise on the rebound. An influx of young talent and new faces will be counted on to return the franchise to more glorious days. As the Rams get the 2009 season underway, they will host eight home games at the Edward Jones Dome. Green Bay, Minnesota, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Arizona, Seattle, Houston, and San Francisco will all visit the Rams this season.
