About Cats
Munkestrap, a lead character, introduces various types of cats like JennyAnyDots, the Gumbie Cat, Rum Tum Tugger the Hipster Cat, Mungo Jerry and Rumpleteaser, twin cats always up to no good, Mr. Mistopheles, a youthful magical cat, Macavity, troublemaker of the group, the patriarch Old Deuteronomy and Grizabella, the Glamor Cat.
Act II begins to show how Jellicle Cats prepare for the selection of the cat who on the night of the full moon will go to the Heavy Side Layer. As a group, they endure Macavity’s attacks on them as well as taking time out for playful entertainment at the Jellicle Ball. Weary, they enjoy a short catnap. Act III shows that the choice of the eligible cat becomes an act of charity on the part of the other cats that choose Grizabella. Act IV concludes with Grizabella being taken aboard the long golden paw to the Heavy Side Layer as the rest of the group finalizes their own feelings about being Jellicle Cats.

The theme of "Cats" is uncomplicated. It's based on TS Eliot's "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats". It takes place in a junkyard. In Act I, felines of the group introduce several kinds of Jellicle cats eligible to go to the "Heavy Side Layer".
