God of Carnage is a story about two married couples who get together to discuss their sons’ hostile behavior. Their sons were involved in a fight on the playground, and one boy ends up with two broken teeth. The parents agree to meet at the home of the injured boy to discuss the altercation. The parents’ meeting is amicable at first, but the mood quickly changes to hostility. Both couples become defensive about their child, and tempers rise, adding rum to the mix, the parents resort to name-calling, stomping, throwing things, and rude insults. Their display of childish, unruly behavior is so comical because they act even worst than their children. The show is hilarious!
The God of Carnage cast and crew are on a short summer vacation from July 27 to September 7 to allow actors to fulfill prior commitments. God of Carnage shows are scheduled to resume on September 8 at the Jacobs Theatre in New York, NY.
