The Shrek Broadway performance has a collection of extraordinary cast members, including Shrek, a short tempered ogre who is sent on mission to rescue Princess Fiona in a land far, far away, played by the talented Brian D’Arcy James. Christopher Sieber plays the short, yet powerful, Lord Farquaad who sends this angry ogre on his mission. Daniel Breaker, Donkey, gives a wonderful performance as this funny, over talkative character that never shuts up. Robb Sapp also gives a great performance as Pinocchio. There are plenty of other misfits in this fairytale story. Princess Fiona, performed by the beautiful Sutton Foster, is dismayed to find that her rescuer is an ogre. However, Princess Fiona has a secret of her own. Maybe the two of them are not so different after all.
There are 19 all-new songs in Shrek the Musical. The scenery is gorgeous. The story is full of fun for everyone and plenty of twists and turns. This funny musical is sure to make everyone laugh.
